Community Health Needs Assessment

Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital had the opportunity to collaborate with Ascension Seton, a minority owner of CTRH, to lead a community health needs assessment (CHNA) for Travis County, Texas. This CHNA is a follow-up to the latest report conducted in 2016 to help gain a better insight into the shifts in health needs within our community over the past few years.

According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), CHNA refers to a state, tribal, local or territorial health assessment that identifies key health needs and issues through systematic, comprehensive data collection and analysis. The ultimate goal of this assessment is to develop strategies to address the community’s health needs and identified issues.
